Yep. We can. Taking 2 of 3 is a MUST from Det. If we sweep them, then not winning 2 of 3 vs NY doesn't hurt as bad. I was hoping to go 4-2 this week and then 10-4 in the series at Minn/ChiSox, home vs Oak/ChiSox. That would have put us 81-69 with 2 weeks left

Yep. We have owned Minn/Sox to the tune of a 20-5 record.
Be sweet if we could take 10 of remaining 13 vs those 2.

It was a long shot all along. But there's no chance we're doing it. We just had a 20 win month, which didn't happen in 14 or 15, and we'd have to do that AGAIN and still not be at 90 wins.

He has BY FAR the more adult perspective on this season. Everybody but blinded Royals fans saw this kind of season coming. This is the season that everybody projected we would have. We met expectations for our talent level. That was enough to keep everybody engaged all summer long. And that is honestly fine. If you don't think it is, then that's your problem, not Townie's.
