that has nothing to do with the Royals. they're trying to reduce the amount of pitching changes mid-inning to speed the game up. Ned likes to give relievers an entire inning, and doesn't GAF about L-R matchups

Yeah, Ned's use of relievers is the right way. I hate those managers that use like 4 pitchers in an inning.

Also, Cain should have skipped his 1st day of rehab assignment and went to the White House. Ridiculous.
Robin Ventura is the worst about this.

I'm gonna take a small vacation from this board. 

I will say this.  If we are going to do the impossible, we must win every home series, with maybe losing just 1

We play 21 games vs Minn ChiSox Angels and Oak. 3 of those are 4 game series. Then we play 3 vs Det and NYY.  Win each series, sweep 1 and that's 20-7

We then have 3 vs winning teams Tex Tor and Cle.  Win 2 of 3 series for sure.  Go 5-4.  That's 25-11.  Maybe we even get 26-10

That meens we have to go 17-15 or 18-14 on the road.
This would get us to 89-90 wins

 We do play 13 vs Minn TB and ChiSox.
4  games at Texas. 3 at Cle, Bos,Mia.
Then 6 at Det.

1 key could be winning 5 of 7 vs beat up Texas and having a solid road record vs 13 losing record teams

Odds aren't great. Maybe only 10%.  But these are the Royals.  Hopefully they will be the Relentless Royals.
