To be fair, other than a trophy and 2 WS appearances...We are a game out of a playoff spot with starting pitching and offensive runs scored in the bottom 20% of MlB.

Not that we were going to win this game after CY gave up a TD and XP in the 2nd inning....but we have 14 base runners thru 5.0 and only 3 runs. Sounds very RoadRoyals like

Hou starting pitcher, Fires got 13 outs and allowed 13 base runners before he went bye bye. It's sad that it doesn't really matter.

Kuechel allowed 13 base runners last night too. Too bad Houston took batting practice vs Eddie and CY.

But... Nationals punched us in the mouth and we Rebounded to win 15 of 17 at home at 1 point. Gotta dust off the dirt and get off the canvas....still 3 straight home gms in a row

In case u hadnt noticed from my thousand stats.... posse likes clutch players. I will always love him for 2015 game 1 WS...but 2016 Alex hasn't shown me squat yet

Royals were #30 in Starters ERA, and #20 in Runs Scored.
We were 27 games behind what would have been #2 Wildcard

2016--
Royals are 28th in Starters ERA, and #24 in Runs Scored
We are 1.5 games out of playoffs almost halfway thru season

Thank goodness, for the bullpen, our Resilience at home (several come from behind Wins), and our tough minded ability to win at home (10-1 in 1 run games and 3-0 extra innings at home)

Posse, is it frustrating to be so reliant on a trait that has been statistically shown to be entirely random for baseball players?
