10 in a row set down by Volkie. I like it.  Last start and tonight he battled his control in the 1st.

I know we are gonna get some more runs off of Boyd and their bullpen too

getting runs off of boyd before he left the game was a clever strategy.

Kendrys has a 7 game hitting streak.  So that's a thing.  It took a really long time to PI him but I think it finally worked.

the 2016 defense is a mockery of the 2014 and 2015 defenses.

4-5 tonight and i think 2-2 yesterday.  nice little bump for the average.

Anyone on the 14 or 15 Royals I will be sentimental about, even Omar.

yep

one of my favorite things about this thread was 2014 when we would all post pictures of Michael Kenneth Williams from The Wire.  :bawl:

This is v. good.

youngsie has that six scoreless look in his eye again.  and it goes fantastically with the sky blue uniform trim.

I hope PP wasn't watching that offensive sequence.

I was. Bad read by Esky, but my frustration was only a 1 (scale of 1 to 10) on that.

I mean, that was v. v. bone-headed, if that drops, we love him for it though. I think I'm okay with that gamble, but I'm not sure.

i'm glad the royals put a point on the board there, because watching youngsie throw his six scoreless and have the royals still be losing was gonna make me shake my damn head, which i did not want to do in this weather.

CY looked good thru 5.  Here is the big inning as the top of the order is up.

Zimmerman has been sharp, so I'm pleased that it's a tie game. I would have been very pleased had that Paulo ball just cleared the fence

when you have the big horse saddled up, you hop off after six.  that's what he'll give you and that's what you take.

I would have been mad had they sent him out there for the 7th.  He pitched well. We have Jack Herrera Wader all available, and off day Monday and Thursday

CY 9 ER in 26 Innings in 5 Home starts.
3.12 ERA and 1.15 WHIP
Plus 4.0 additional scoreless bullpen Innings

herrera is just a shiny red apple of a pitcher.  assuming shiny red apples love to throw sliders that make hitters look completely stupid.
