Depends. How many royals games did you go to before they got good? Also, not for a social gathering, for viewing pleasure. I might make a litmus test on this thing.

FTR, I don't play softball. It's depressing. My last HS game, our coach gave us a great speech about playing for tomorrow, not ending our careers to be some out of shape, fat, softball junky guy. We still lost tho.

Further, the credit for his leadership style has little to do with in-game strategy. It's incredibly small-minded to say that because he won a world series he can do no wrong, nor doesn't make tactically moronic moves. I think the players have overcome his moves pretty often, actually.
