The lineups we've thrown out the past two games have been awful. We need to recall Gio to put at 2nd base for the rest of the season. He is batting .297 at Omaha and there's no way in hell he would be as bad as Getz or Johnson.

Tejada is a big loss. The absences of Moose and Cain have been big too, as we've had to throw Triple A players in the lineup. Last night's lineup was the worst I've seen in quite a while.

Pinch running Maxwell is just Fake Sugar Dick (WARNING, NOT THE REAL SUGAR DICK!). They should have kept on the bench to pinch hit in case Gordon walks.

also good job johnson keep proving me right

I love that you dorks are arguing whether EJ hurts the Royals less from being 0-1000, or from committing horrible errors in the field.

Sure, Ned is a bit hamstrung due to key injuries, but where he places people in the lineup defies all logic. If he can't do better than that, it's no wonder the Brewers fired him in September when they were in a pennant race.

Injuries may have done us in. It was a fun 3 weeks.

Also, poor Gio.  :frown:

When Moose comes back, we should just move Gordon to 2nd base. We have a playoffs to birth ourselves into, after all.

Wrong. He said best case scenario back by Saturday or Sunday.

we won 7 series in a row and we finally lose one and you dweebs freak out.

We have precious little margin for error bud.

I've said it a million times. Ned is not even close to being the problem.

But he is at least a part of it.

Not really. I'm no fan of Ned but the organization has never signed/traded for/developed a big middle of the order bat or developed a starting pitcher. Ned has done a fantastic job with the bullpen this year. His lineups are stupid, but other than that I've been pleasantly surprised at how he's handled the team. He allowed George Brett to overshadow him for 2 months and wasn't insecure about it, and credit needs to be given to how he's put Hosmer in a spot to succeed with Billy behind him.

Ned ain't the problem. Buddy Bell wasn't the problem. Trey Hillman sucked, but he wasn't the problem. The problem is the way the roster is compiled.
