in wildcard news this afternoon Toronto is up on Oakland 1-0, and the California Angels are up 4-0 on Cleveland.

The Yankees are up 2-1 vs Detroit.

Texas vs Houston is at 1:10 also, B'more vs SF at 2:05, and Rays vs the Dodgers is a night game.

Not to Phys: E. Johnson is not in a slump. He simply is not a MLB caliber hitter.

Glad it is 3-1 now but the Royals have to send Johnson down, if he doesn't clear through waivers tough crap. Falu should be playing 2nd every day until Tejada gets back.

Johnson needs to go. Worst part of the Shields trade. Getting Shields and Davis where understandable but surely they could have got a ptbnl better than an older version of most the the MI in the Royals system
