Gordon had some of the worst ABs I've seen from him. Hope it was just a thing that was today but man, woof.
Soria - Got ahead of hitters, looked great.
Herrera - Big big positive. Gives up back to back singles, then gets right out of it. That's good.
Young - Chris Young is going to give up home runs. He just is. 2 runs from him is good, and overall he was in command of the game.
Fuentes - does not look like a major league hitter yet, but its unfair to judge him against Syndegard and Harvey.
Really for the team to do well, the middle of the lineup has to produce, and that didn't happen today. Hosmer and Morales came up with a chance to get a hit and tie the game and didn't. When you have a guy dealing like that, and a bullpen like the Mets, you only get so many chances with runners on and the Royals hitters weren't getting it done today against that slider.
Syndegard owned that team today. Great performance, good luck to the mets the rest of the way!
