Me and a couple of other Royals fans do this 2-3 times a week at work down here in the Carolinas. "Hey, are we still world champs?" (the other guys checks watch or phone) "YEP! Still world champs!" It never gets old.

I agree that Alex is probably gone and that saddens me. We should all be thankful for his contributions to the franchise, and for each other on this great Royals thread. Can't wait for next season.
