Fangraphs had a decent list

http://www.fangraphs.com/blogs/fangraphs-crowd-the-top-82-free-agents/

they have CY at 1 year for about 6 mil.
Different Chris Young :D

uhm no, Cire had the right one
:surprised:

No way is CY the pitcher worth $6M next year.
Yeah he pretty clearly will get that

His fastball isn't nearly fastbally enough for some people I guess.  Maybe they didn't watch the playoffs?

CY was very good in the playoffs, but that is a lot of money for a middle reliever or bottom of the rotation starter who will probably only give you about 120 innings. And did I mention he turns 37 in May?

it's actually not.  baseball players make a lot of money.

I don't follow free agency that much but I'd think 1 or 2 for CY as a spot starter long reliever isn't a bad option.

His shoulder is a liability. I'd rather spend that money on an OF.

if you don't sign young, you have to sign a different pitcher.  you can't just not have a pitcher some days.

I like the idea of signing him, just not for the $6M that was suggested.

yeah, plus maybe factor in that we paid him like $15/hr last year

well, someone else will give him that much money and then you'll have to sign a different pitcher for prolly more money, so you won't be able to spend it on an outfielder.  is my point.

Lots of Royals twitter.

Davis and Esky options picked up.

Qualifying offer to Gordo.

Gomes option not picked up.

Ryan offered the bottom of the last inning to Denny to call but Denny declined to give Ryan his shot.

We brought the radio out to listen to the bottom of the 12th, and I figured Ryan would've offered Denny that as well. In extra innings, Denny always does odd numbered innings. I think its cool. Ryan will most likely broadcast this team for another 25 years, and its fitting that he got to call a WS win.

REALLY?    Had no idea on the odd inning thing.

He needs to retire either way.

also bitb and danny both agreed the royals did not steal nearly as many bases in the postseason this year compared to last year. (it's the exact same number = 14)

@Cartierfor3 Ms. wacky just sent me their blueprint for the UA WS shirts (Discounted heavily!). PM me your email address and you can take a look at them if you want. She can only buy up to 6 and she has one spot left. Sorry guys, cf3 has been running this thread for years.

But we played 1 more game this year. So our per game average last year was .93 steals per game, and this year it was .875 steals per game. So technically he's right

oh yeah i'm sure when he said "not nearly as many bases this year" 52 year old kevin keitzman was thinking about tempo-free stats
