The captain obvious point of the night is that Harvey was the starter and the set-up guy. So rather then driving up the pitch count, taking walks (Cain) the Royals got up there and flailed away . . . live by the flail, die by the flail. Thus they are on the verge of wasting a great pitching performance from a guy who just got back from a long trip burying his dad.
