So if Herrera needs help he'll go to Madson?
If he gets through clean, is it Davis for 2 or Madson/Davis?

great question.  do you go for the kill but maybe burn or impair davis for a game 7?  or play it safe and keep everyone available?

i'd probably let davis throw 2, but i'm a gambler by nature.
Prolly just Davis b/c top of the order I guess...maybe wait for a runner, and risk a solo shot? Madson has been good

or even just let herrera keep going and only pull him if he allows a runner?  he can pitch three.  you'll burn him for a game 7, but that's not quite the same thing as burning davis.

Agreed. Herrera is awesome tonight. Not a bad idea to send him back out for the ninth.

Also, you definitely go for the kill, but is it more effective to have it be Davis for two or Madson / Davis. Most effective based on Toronto's lineup would maybe be Davis then Madson actually

Madson is warming. I love him in all, but I want Wade to face top of lineup.  Ned continues to live on the edge. JFC

a clever trick would be to score more points and then not worry so much about it.
