Yep, this is what we all hoped for. It would've been nice to finish it there, but we are fine. We're going to the World Series guys.

Yep, this is what we all hoped for. It would've been nice to finish it there, but we are fine. We're going to the World Series guys.

I agree with that. We will be watching the Royals in the World Series next week.

Ned's pitching decisions didn't cost us that game. Maybe by pulling Volkie earlier he could have kept it closer and squeezed the Toronto bullpen a bit but with a rest day for everyone coming up and a late game that wouldn't have done much anyway.

agreed. bats went silent. if had gotten a run or 2 early, would've been an entirely different ballgame

that's ridiculous. if you avoid the toronto outburst in the 6th, you have a one run game with three innings to go. impossible to say what would have happened, but the royals would have had a decent shot of getting a win.

yost not pulling volkie probably cost the royals about a .25 shot of winning. that is meaningful.
