im seriously concerned for our players safety the next three games.  Their fans are absolute trash and will be out for blood.

maybe forfeit those games and start right in on the last two back in kc?  you hate to give away games, but the players' safety is more important.

I actually still think we should play but would have our corner infielders and outfielders wear John Olerud helmets in case of thrown beer bottles.

there's a video of bautista with the press embedded in this story.  watching it, it's fairly obvious he wasn't throwing goins under the bus, he was just being an unresponsive dick with the press for no obvious reason.

normally, i kinda like athletes that are mean to the press, as long as they do it semi-cleverly.  his watch the video mantra isn't really clever, but his response to the question at the end was.  so, i'm gonna fall back on excessive stretching as his chief offense.  i'm exonerating him on being mean to goins.

What a day. Haven't had time to get on here much. 

I was glad I left the Ksu game early, and got to catch that Incredible 7th inning in the parking lot.
55-0 loss means nothing on this day. I was all smiles because of that comeback

Posse Stat of the day....

Toronto was our biggest comeback during the season. We trailed 5-0 up there and came back to win 7-6
Today's comeback was so unique.  I can't recall in last 3 years that we ever were scoreless for 6 innings, battled back from down 3, and came back to win. 

We have had some 3 run deficits before, but on the cusp of 18 in a row being retired and then to have that inning......just AWESOME!!!

You guys know what's fun with the roys? I have total trust, faith, whatever that they are going to win. When ksucats or chiefs were ever good there was always still the nagging feeling that heartbreak was right around the corner. I don't have that with the royals and it's pretty great
