Escobar is going to be manning SS for the foreseeable future. If this kid is really that badass, he could be ready for the majors in 4 or 5 yrs...  Having an elite 2B prospect would excite me more.

FYI- teams only have 2.9 mil total to sign foreign players in this instance.  Also, this kid is rated as the #4 prospect overall so that sounds promising.

Luke Hochevar was dealing.... yet, replaced him with Tim Collins who has been struggling....

Doesn't help the fact that he, for whatever reason, wants Escobar batting 2nd...

Somebody needs to kick him in the nuts and tell him to GTFO!

Shortstop is a more valuable position than 2B. If a guy has a chance to be a good MLB shortstop you ALWAYS try and develop him. Always. Regardless of the current big league roster.

And this kid is 16.
