The last 29 games of of 2014 regular season, the Royals were 14-15.
If the Royals win their last 4, they will have an 11-18 mark in their last 29 games this year.

Last year, one more loss would have kept them out of the playoffs. (They really needed to win these games)
This year, going 0-29 would not have kept us out of the playoffs. (probably, I am just guessing on this one) (these games don't really matter)

the royals have played 158 games. you can easily see the benefit of breaking this down into two giant 79-game sections.

section 1: 46-33
section 2: 45-34

we're like pretty much the same the whole time!  :Woot:

tartabull
Anybody within 5 years of my age who didn't attempt to hold the bat the way Tartabull did was a respect.

If we were on the road to 0-29 in our last 29 games this year (0-25 right now) we'd still have a 1 game lead on the Twins.

edited to reflect an extra Twins win against us. still

I really hope the Twins win today and that we can knock them out of the playoffs on the last game of the season. And that they are all crying in the batter's box as Wade Davis mows them down at the end of the game because we are up by 20.

Guess who wears #4 because of Tartabull (and Chris Webber)  :gocho:

It's me.

Well, when you did the :gocho: you answered your own question. It would have been more fun for me to have to guess.

Are you having a good day?

It is a day where I am wondering what else I should be doing. I like my job and the company, but I think I could be doing more with my life.
Middle age probably. Plus, it was my birthday earlier this week and nobody gave me a cake thread.

But really, I am pretty good. Thanks for asking.

I need to know when these damn playoff games are gonna start  :curse:

Guessing Game 1 is an afternoon game and Game 2 is Friday night.

I would guess they'd have the east coast team start early? I bet we'll be the late start both games but that's just a guess.

SD will be like "oh man these games are TOO LATE" lmao

If you look at Fox Sports 1's listings for next Thursday, they show a 4 PM start, and a 730 PM start.

I want 730 for tailgating reasons.

Yeah, I'm not sure if they go by coast for start times or by 1 vs WC/2 vs 3. Last year 2 vs 3 had the afternoon games.

I'm thinking if LAA gets in they will want those TV sets and make the LAA/TOR primetime.
