I mean most hilarious plays involve one player looking like a idiot; Manny Ramirez cutting off a ball from like 20 feet in front of him, Jose Canseco letting a ball bounce off of his head for a home run, etc. In this case Bradley Jr., Infante, and the 3rd base coach all had a contest to see who could be the biggest bonehead.

You knew Drew would get a hit after that stupidity.

So there is one of those runs we could have had with that single.

We had 0 outs. No reason to even risk it.

and needed two runs.  in the ninth.  i mean, in so many other situations, sending him would make sense.  but they could've stopped him at second and it would have made more sense than sending him.

Bradley Jr. didn't look too bad. Sure, he misplayed the ball, but you could tell how low the visibility is on the catch by Escobar in the bottom of the 8th.
If there was a gif of nicname thwarting the attempted-flag-taker and then gesturing him to suck it, followed by motioning for all of Hilton Shelter to boo him louder, it'd be better than that auburn gif.

We're going to get 4 hits in the 9th, including a triple, and score no runs aren't we?

And that single would have tied it.
Okay, I'm done looking back at that bonehead move.

what did infante do?  he's gotta trust his coach, right?  and the stuck slide was due to playing conditions.

My focus has partially turned to the Yankees, Blue Jays, and Astros. All losing BTW.

i can't enjoy watching the yankees and blue jays, because i can't figure out who to root for.

No he can stop, he knew where the ball was hit the play was in front of him until he rounded third, but that slide was horrawful, wayyyy too early.

No, just the overall Kuntz effect. I felt the need to blame something.

i don't blame him at all for judging the ball or the slide.  i guess you can argue that he should know the game situ and ignore the coach being a dumbass.  seems like a lot to ask of the runner though.  99% coach, 1% runner, imo.
