I was just watching Game 7 of the World Series again. In the 2nd, Moose flies out to Left Center, and Alex moves to 3rd, he scored that inning. If Moose was this year's moose, the left fielder probably isn't shading him so far towards center, and that ball hits the wall and 2 runs score and we have Moose on 2nd, up 3-2, with no out.
Didn't you watch fever pitch? This is like the buckner game. We're you eating ice cream in a dark corner while doing this?

Na, I just wanted to see how it all went down again.

I'd rather throw acid in my eyes, but I get it. It's like watching the 98 big 12 championship game and waiting till Bishop fumbles it away.  :frown:

Have no idea why anyone would want to watch game 7 again, but it is nothing like the Buckner game.

I watched the Elite 8 Butler game a few times after that season. Never watched the Baylor 2012 game again because it was just an ass whooping.

I just wanted to break it down a bit. I didn't watch every pitch

I mean, SF outplayed us. There was no goat on the Royals. They made the double play on Hosmer, they shaded Aoki on the LF line in the 5th, they pulled Hudson early etc. Its actually good to go back and see that. There are what ifs, but its like the one I posted. What if SF didn't shade Moose towards center? That's them playing well, not us failing.

I have something to admit. I was tailgating out at the stadium on game 7 and my buddy who promotes mccormick vodka had a huge tv setup on his truck in case we didn't get affordable seats, which is exactly what happened. I watched the whole game on the back of his truck, but left in the 9th inning, because I was so pissed and bumgarner was mowing us down. Which means, I missed the Gordon drama. I had to listen to it on the radio and see the replay that night.  :frown: I'm going to hell, aren't I?

THESE GAMES ARE TOO LATE AT NIGHT

Wrong.  9pm games are the best.  Get all the evening business out of the way, sit down and watch a game.

Debating about strolling up to Oakland to watch Laurie be a whimp in front of the home crowd. Will def go if other gE'ers just happen to be in the area

Can we have a team meeting about diving into first and how dumb it is? It didn't work for Hos in Game 7, it didn't work there. Quit it.

i don't think it hurts anything, cf3.  if they like to dive, let them dive.
