I will agree none are just flat out great, but I have been higher on Volquez than most on here, and I think he is a very good pitcher. iMO he is our ACE #1 guy now and will be rest of year

The league is hitting .208 vs him. League is hitting .196 vs King Felix for comparison. The 3 inn 3 ER start that Volqy had with the bad blister won't really affect his stats by season end, but his ERA is just under 3.00 without that start right now

Last year, He was lights out from late June on, so he has pitched well for almost a full year straight now.

May isn't a good pitcher. He hasn't really looked good tonight so far, and we have left 4 thru 3 innings. I keep waiting for that 3 or 4 run inning that jump starts us a bit.

The good... We have 6 hits and 8 base runners thru 4
The bad .... We had moose on 2nd no out, then 2 on and no out, and failed to score because of some costly base running. I'm all for us being more aggressive but you can't make easy outs cause of bad base running.
