I've only been to 1 game this year. That is embarrassing.
When one person, for whatever reason, has a chance to lead an exceptional life, he has no right to keep it to himself.

Crazy stat: It seems like the Royals are hitting tons of long dongs this year (at least way more than normal and especially last year).
However, having hit 29 home runs this year puts the KC Royals at 24th in MLB! Houston has hit almost twice as many home runs as the Royals have!

CRAZY!!!!

this is a great topic and I'm glad you brought it up slobber. I am much more concerned with the actual number of dongs than the Royals rank in dongs.

look at the dong enhancement from last year!

2014
April: 11 dongs
May: 13 dongs

2015
April: 18 dongs
May: 11 dongs (on pace for 18)

that is a 50% dong enhancement from last year

also, wow dobber, with all those home runs, Houston must be mashing the ball all over the place. let's check out total bases in MLB this year:

1. Kansas City 579
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
9. Houston 529

That is not a bad way to look at it, but just think how great it would be to be #1 in dongs? That would be A LOT of dongs!

ned isn't going to skip a start or send him down or do anything that shakes his already shaky confidence. duffy needs to figure this crap out and ned will give him every opportunity to do so.

I wouldn't send him down, I'd just trade him away for $50 and a minor leaguer to be named later and move on.  The guy couldn't hit a bull in the ass with a shovel.

I've watched some bull fights, and I think it would probably be quite difficult to hit a bull in the ass with anything in close quarters.

Yeah, here is another tidbit.  KC has hit 29 HRs while our Opp. have hit 30. But we have 27 more 2B(82-55) and 8 more 3B (14-6) than our Opp.

Pretty nice to have hit 34 more extra base hits than our Opp. ( especially when HRs are basically even). Almost 1 more extra base hit per game.  Last year we were -3 on total extra base hits and -33 on HR difference with the Opp.

Royals lead now 1.5 after Brewers beat Det 3-2.  Tigers already played 15 1-run games this year (8-7 record).  They had 1st&2nd no out in 8th.  Victor hit into DP and J.D struck out to end the threat

Great start to the Royals' week.

As already said, the Tigers lost tonight.

The Cards are in this weekend and are playing 13 straight games without a day off. We have two days off before they arrive; they have none this week.

To top it off, they lost in 14 innings tonight. Every position player played and they used everyone in their bullpen, a 'pen that has seen a lot of work the last few games. They'll be coming in tired, guys.   :)

Does anyone know if Duffy will be fixed by Saturday? I will be crafting and drafting for that game.
