I've calmed down a bit - it has likely been discussed buy WHAT THE eff WAS THE AOKI AT BAT????? Dyson on 1 w/ 0 outs. 1-0 count. There are only 3 options here: 1. take the pitch 2. take the pitch and send Dyson 3. Bunt

They went with the option that nobody in the right frame of mind would do.....NOT STEAL AND LET AOKI SWING.

I'm now going to set my neighbors house on fire.

Yes, the Aoki at bat was a major blunder....could not figure that out for nothing. Dyson never had a chance to look to steal, and the part about Aoki swinging a good bat? What the eff?

Aoki was up there so we'd avoid Billy grounding into a DP. He hit the ball hard. Its baseball, sometimes line drives go right at big fat guys playing 3rd, sometimes hard hit balls make easy DPs.

That game was more about the Giants than us. They strung together hits, and we didn't after the 3rd. And I do think its reasonable to be optimistic tonight. Hos and Moose and Billy all swung it well against Bumgarner. This is not Sandy Koufax or 99 Pedro. He is not unhittable. It might be only like a 25% shot, but we can win tonight. If we lose, guess what? We have to win 2 games against Peavy and Hudson, possibly the 2 crappiest pitchers (besides Vogelsong sheesh) we've faced in the postseason.

I know it's over and I should move on but we had a 3 run lead in the 4th inning. We needed 6 outs before we turned it over to the cyborgs. It was right there for the taking.
