Confession: I'm really scared that Dyson's comments are gonna come back and bite us. Normally I love talk like that this time I am terrified. I am also a huge pussy.

Those comments will have nothing to do with the outcome of the series, good or bad.

Not many of you know this, but in my spare time I'm an amateur meteorologist who does a lot of data analysis for the weather channel. If you have questions on what tonight may bring, feel free to ask me anything.

Baseball isn't a game that can be fueled by words imo. If pitching is good and defense is good, you're not going to score runs. The Royals have both. If anything guys would be overhyped and swing at crap imo.

I'm hoping for a rain called game with a Royals win to fuel Baltimore's butthurt.

Will the weather allow for a playoff baseball game in Kauffman Stadium to be played in its entirety ?

No. My data shows that there is a 100% chance of rain from 7 pm until 2 am.

NEXT!

One of the wettest Octobers in KC history continues.  The rain is increasing and wind is in the way.  There very little chance of the game!

I am hoping tickets get cheaper tomorrow if the game gets moved - I would consider flying out for a night to go.

Royals were -1.5 yesterday and now we're +1.5 for the game tonight.  :frown:

The 3rd most popular bet on my sportsbook is the O's winning the series  :frown:

Total Game odds:
4 Games +220
5 Games +250
6 Games +260
7 Games +260

I hate these numbers. I AM FREAKING OUT MAN.

So when do they officially call the game? Do I have to drive out to the stadium and wait in the parking lot just to be sure?! I've never done playoff baseball before and I'm confused  :runaway:

Like, we all know this game isn't gonna happen due to the rain. Right?

But when will I know for sure?

Is there a 1-800 number I can call to see if the game has been rained out? Back when I played at 3&2 they had a 1-800 you could call and it would play a recording saying games were on or off. It seems like maybe MLB could do something like that?

It won't #$%&ing stop raining.

I've had a lot of landscape projects I've wanted to get done this fall that I haven't even been able to touch because every freaking time I have a chance, it's rained.

So, based on my luck, and the fact that I sit next to a window and have checked, periodically, every ten minutes for the last five hours, we're not seeing an end to this nonsense.
