Ned is intent to make me go back to my normal Royals routine; by the end of the season I'm done with baseball and fully focused on football. This year is just a couple months later. The really sad thing is this is still the best I've experienced as Royals fan in the last 30 years. I'm still happy I got tickets for next Saturday to support a lot if these players who have given us a fantastic run. I'm trying not to speak as if being back 2 games (essentially) is the end, but starting this homestand off at 1-3 combined with today's stupid decisions has nearly crushed any Royals hope I have left.

The players have given up. Start bring up the AAA players for some practice.

today is the reason that anyone who was honest about ned was absolutely terrified of being in a position where we were reliant on him to not make stupid decisions when it really counted.

Holy crap, he actually told McCullough that Crow's inning is the sixth and Kelvin's is the seventh.

I listened to yoster's post game comments & I couldn't help but laugh (I was SO PISSED at yost & crow). He defended pitching crow & acted like he was the right move & stated that he didn't bring in a lefty to make Nava bat from the right because John Farrell would have pinch-hit Napoli. Lol yost is trying to out think another manager, come on!

Why the eff can Finnegan not get the last out in the 6th? Why can't Herrera pitch more than 1 inning & get 4 outs? This is September baseball, there is no script you have to follow. You have to manage as the game calls for it. Herrera pitches 1+ innings & yost is scared that he won't be ready for tomorrow? How does yost know that Big Game James won't throw a complete game tomorrow. You play to win the game TODAY, don't worry about tomorrow.

I HATE yost!

yeah. i mean all of that. ned actually flipped the script a bit during the streak when he pitched "the big three" when we were down a run in the 8th and 9th a couple of times and it paid of. how he can't see to do it today in the 6th when we are hanging on by a thread w/ everything on the line is beyond me. i mean this was it right? that quote of his is beyond maddening.

I'm still in shock. Crow. Aaron rough ridin' crow in the most crucial point in the game.

I've spent the past fifteen minutes trying to type something that encapsulates my confusion, incredulity, and anger. I honestly have nothing. The feelings I have inside right now are incapable of being explained with words.
This is who I am...I have no problem crying. - Jerome Tang
