On July 30, Oakland was 66-41 with the best record in the MLB, and a 2.5 game lead on the Angels.
Then they traded Cespedes, have gone 13-17, and now trail the Angels by 4.5 games.

(Oh and the Royals went 21-9 in that same span)

I was mistaken. Any player on the current active roster on 9/22 can enter the game once it resumes in our suspended game. Only ineligible players are those that played already and have been taken out (Duffy, etc)

Maybe by then they will be eliminated and no longer care about that game and pitch like a 2nd baseman Ala Yankees after protested pine tar game resumption.

How great is this?  You go into basically every game knowing the Royals are just going to kick as and take names all night long.
