but the Royals were losing then so we should definitely roll out a lineup of Kratz at C, Willingham at DH, Sal at 1, and Billy at RF

OH NOW YOU LIKE MY IDEA

Guys you're all right.  My first idea was asinine.

What if Aoki plays 1B so that Willingham can stay in the lineup in RF (he's hot.)  Shift Billy to 3B and Sal can keep catching.  Moose was drafted as a SS so he can play there and we get to keep his thunder in the lineup that way.  Alcides and Hos do a lefty/righty platoon at DH until Hosmer gets back into the swing of things, at which point he'll be the full time DH.

The only flaw in your lineup is that Willingham only plays left field so they will need to move All-Star Gold Glover Alex Gordon to RF or sit him on the bench.

on it.

okay- colon is going to pitch tonight so he can also bat 9th in the lineup. use his speed to get some SBs. when hes done pitching in the 9th, we do a double switch and move him to 2B for infante and bring in holland to close it out. also with colons speed in the lineup we dont need dyson in center so lets move aoki to center and willingham in right for his power.

You guys are so dumb. Billy was drafted as a 3B, then shifted to left field, not right. He did play 96 games in right field for Wichita back in 2006, but his zone rating was pretty bad.  The clear move is Hosmer to first, Billy/Gordon platoon at 3rd, Willingham in left, Kratz in center (1 minor league game there), Aoki in right, DH Colon.

ok just remembered colon is a rightie and so is shields so were not really gaining anything by making that switch. so scratch my first idea.

second idea- colon catches for sal who is out for tonight. kratz plays first to give billy a much needed day off. throw j-dub (player not poster) in right field with aoki and gordon. 2B, SS and 3B stay the same.

Yeah, it's not like Infante/Moose are on a heater. Infante might be well served by a couple days off.

Moustakas / Escobar / Infante all need occasional days off, and it should be Colon every time. But you guys keep wackying up this cathedral of a thread all you want. (there is a royals AAA thread if you're interested)

I'm talking about after Hos comes back dipshit. Obviously Sexy Sal will be back behind the dish.

Until then I guess Willingham moves back to catcher, Billy to left and Dyson to first.

You guys aren't even addressing the glaring error of Shields only playing every 5 games.... And Wade has been so hot why isn't he starting?
