I can only imagine that Busch Field/Park/etc has a worse beer selection than Kauffman.

Guys, if you want some good Royals perspective, go back and start reading right about here and go on for several more pages.

Of course, the real turning point might have happened right here, thanks to our good friend and leader of this thread CF3.

I will conclude with this: the past 2 weeks or so have been THE most fun time of my life as a Royals fan. Granted, I still remember talking some junk to my music teacher in '85 (a Cardinals fan), but I was 10 years old at the time, so that was a lot different. The only thing remotely close was 03, and we've blown that out of the water this year.

So enjoy fellow Roys!
any coincidence that I started posting in this thread this year and the royals are awesome?

My mindset as a Royals fan has changed from "here we go again" to "bring it on." Momentum is an amazing thing.

Yes. Its amazing to me to go back and read through posts from just after the All Star break until we started winning in July. It was a bad time to be a fan then, but people stuck with it.

For example, j-dub during that time is miserably adorable. :D

i was so lost. so defeated. i just alternated between being a complete downer in here to lashing out at wacky and alex smith in the chiefs thread. i'm pretty ashamed of my behavior guys :frown:

i'd like to take this opportunity to apologize for my actions and bad attitude and complete lack of #beroyal'ing during that unfortunate time.

now lets go embarrass the crap out of the next idiot losers we get to toy around with

ROYALS!!

Cf3, bud, enjoy it. A young fan pup saw the first ever rockies game at mile high when I lived there in '93. Lucky for us, the big cat isn't walking through those doors any time soon. ;)

FanMan I saw the last game before the strike, Rockies vs. Braves at Mile High, in 94. I'm hoping this trip is even more memorable.

ODell 90 is my favorite out of that group.  Easy Street Wheat is okay but I grew up on Boulevard Wheat and Easy Street feels much sweeter than that.  Never had Avery, but Titan is good if you like IPA.

So, did you guys know that Alex Gordon is a for-real MVP candidate? Like, he might actually be having the best season in the American League. Actually, I'm not sure how many votes he'll end up getting, because a lot of dudes who vote might miss his value, but they shouldn't. He's a certified stud/ boss.
If there was a gif of nicname thwarting the attempted-flag-taker and then gesturing him to suck it, followed by motioning for all of Hilton Shelter to boo him louder, it'd be better than that auburn gif.

so we're all #1Royal here so i don't feel bad asking this even if i should be embarrassed...

how long has the "hanging the W" thing been going on? with the guy in the old uniform who salutes after hanging the W... i don't remember seeing it, ever, until recently. and i really like it. it could be a great tradition if we end up being good for an extended period of time ever.
