i really like ibanez. not as a player, i like him as a character in a morality play. i don't mind him as a player as long as he's not playing defense in the outfield, i guess.

Ibanez is one of the few players we have that is a downgrade from Billy. Here's hoping he recovers that 2002 magic

He looked a lot more comfortable playing 1B last night than Billy has, but offensively, yea, he's worse than Billy.

Fun stat: Aoki is batting .236/.313/.286 vs. RHP.

I know what you're thinking... "That's probably an irrelevant stat because CLE's SP is a lefty tonight." If you did indeed did just have that thought then you'd be wrong.

He's having a pretty good year against LHP (.338/.388/.419) but those are only about 1/4 of his PAs.

Ned actually had a very candid interview today where he explained Billy sitting by saying something along the lines of, our offense is struggling and Billy isn't helping right now
