I was at the game too.  Had my two kids with me who were hot and cranky after the 2nd inning but I forced them to stay until the very end.  Also got the cool KC Wildcats hat.

Enough of KK's derail. Let's talk road trip.

We're probably not going to have a stretch of 9 games like this again. I don't care if its on the road. Minnesota and Tampa are crap, and Cleveland is very, very meh. Look at the pitchers we face. Yeah. Exactly. I never heard of them either.

I want 7-2. 6-3 I'll live with, 5-4 is a disappointment, a losing road trip is a disaster.

Also, I'm saying that Shields June was a fluke, as was his April. He's somewhere in between and I expect about a 3.00 ERA this month. We need him big time.

Finally, Hosmer is officially on my enemies list. He sucks. I'm tired of watching him hit 2nd, I'm tired of watching him swing at pitches in the dirt, and I'm tired of his pointy eye brows. Get it the EFF together Eric. Good Lord.
