Looks like Shields and Haren to finish the series Wednesday. Haren is no slouch. Bats need to wake up and Big Game James needs to be Big Game James.

Haren is a RH, so Dyson (and Moose) should be back in the lineup. IMO, Dyson should be, and deserves to be, in the lineup every night.

Baseball learning curve. Don't know Stevesie IRL but his posts suggest he's not only a very good poster but also very smart. He'll get baseball quite fast.

No joke his understanding of the game grew by the inning. By the ninth he was like the 5th smartest baseball fan in our row

I'm pretty damned knowledgeable about baseball. like, I understand it way more than every other sport. like basketballball, not so much. football, I mean kind of but not really. baseball, yep. I totally know it. inside. outside. it's just great. between the ages of 5-13 I thought I had what it took to be a slap hitting, switch hitting mlb utility infielder. god what the life that woulda been, huh?

RD would you have been the type of utility player that pitches in the 9th when the team is down 17-2 in a weird blowout and the manager doesn't want to ruin any more bullpen arms? And then you'd get a 1-2-3 inning and people would call in to the radio and be all "Daris is a better pitcher than the guys we PAY to be PITCHERS! He's a utility man and HE got a 1-2-3 inning!" And then they'd say the GM should be fired.

did I once throw a no hitter as part of a seventh grade travelling baseball team? you bet your ass I did. was I a good/great pitcher? lol no. did I quite often have to pitch against the bad teams because our two good pitchers had inning restrictions? that would be a good guess on your part. did I put the ball in play and let my team go to work though? eff yes I rough ridin' did. pretty important not to walk people at that age. did I change arm angles and occasionally (occasionally) drop down like quisenberry? you bet your rough ridin' ass. did a third base coach once tell his on deck guy to "watch out for his junk?" yep that happened. so to answer your question with a question...what do you think? boom. too late. of course I would have been that kind of middle infielder.

Kansas doesn't print a new ID right at the DMV. They give a "temporary" ID (a receipt with your picture) and say the real one will come in the mail. Hopefully I have it by the weekend.

yeah i get that(very dumb i agree) but it IS a legal document i dont understand how they can refute that
