I don't think any royals fans want anything more than .500 baseball this year. That's still possible.

Maybe I'm just an idiot but I don't see why Dyson gets any PT, outside of pinch running.  I'd rather see Maier out there untl Cain or Bourgeois is ready to play.  I gues they want to give Dyson another look but the dude has had plenty of shots and has really never impressed me.  :dunno:

I completely agree. I'm hoping Cain's injury is an excuse to give Dyson his final chance to make an impact with the Royals. After this final chance fails, I'm hoping they'll trade him immediately.

I love reading the standings.

Today, every AL East team is on the plus side in the run diff department, only 1 AL Central team is on the plus side on run diff.

Yes, if the Royals had a shitty team that was almost .500, I would be having fun following baseball right now. Instead, we get stuck with one of the worst teams in baseball.

i've had it.

get the glasses to take a plane somewhere (and hope for a crash). convince mark cuban to buy the royals. fire dayton. fire yost. dfa hoch, yuni, mendoza and dyson and whoever else i'm forgetting but shouldn't be. fire whoever can't develop the minor league pitching. trade myers and monty for an ace. sign grienke or whoever is the top shelf free agent pitcher come the offseason and try to win at least 81 games for crying out loud.

Holy crap that was awesome. How badass is Moose?

It was a nice redemption for the easy play he mishandled earlier.

Moose has been great. He's not perfect in the field but he's been much better than advertised and I'd argue better than average for a 3B. Once Hoz gets it going the R's are a good 2B away from having one of the best all around infields in baseball.

JF sucks ass and is the worst player in baseball.

Also, it's pretty early, but Getz is having a pretty good year.

I don't really like any player whose main feature is their speed. He has put up nice stats so far this season, though.

every team has to have a speedy utility guy.  if he's a decent hitter it's a plus.

Oh I know teams need a speed guy. That doesn't mean I have to like them. I have no complaints for Getz if he continues to bat over .300, though.
