guys, i just want a guy who can pinch hit homers and play a little RF if necessary.

i don't think maxwell is that guy. so i hope we look for one of those guys.

apparently the phillies may be open to shopping john mayberry jr.

would take imo.

would take extremely hard. he was a senior in HS when i was a freshman and he was really nice and never once did anything mean like give me a wedgie or a noogie

that settles it!! bring him home dayton  :royals:

Played on a fall ball team with him one time, can confirm the reports of him being a super nice guy who is a stud at baseball.

I remember a time a few weeks back when I'd be off the board for half a day and miss maybe 3 or 4 posts in this thread, now there's 3 or 4 pages!

So we end the season in Chicago again just like last year. If things continue, I'm gonna book my trip to be there sometime in July. Can you imagine watching the Royals clinch a playoff spot (HOPEFULLY A DIVISION CROWN) on the South Side of Chicago? I think it would be more fun than the actual playoff games. I mean, wow, just close your eyes and picture it. Lets all dream this dream for a few seconds, together.

Cats will prob play in the evening. Binge Friday night + Royals Sat afternoon in Chi + More binging post-Yals while Pak'n and EMAW'n at some booze establishment Sat evening + Royals v Sox Sunday (reg. season finale/ playoff sendoff) afternoon before heading back. What's not to like?

If there was a gif of nicname thwarting the attempted-flag-taker and then gesturing him to suck it, followed by motioning for all of Hilton Shelter to boo him louder, it'd be better than that auburn gif.

Quote from:  @McCulloughStar
Alex Gordon ranks second in the American League in position-player WAR. He trails only Mike Trout.

Did not realize he was so high.

Can we talk about how awesome Alex Gordon has been?

It's frustrating that Ned is stubborn about changing the batting order.

I think one of the most frustrating things about Ned is that he tinkers with the order constantly, but then won't make the changes that seem obvious to everyone.

He manages on feel, especially on offense, its not going to make sense to those of us who aren't him.

Guys Gordon is a legit MVP candidate.
If there was a gif of nicname thwarting the attempted-flag-taker and then gesturing him to suck it, followed by motioning for all of Hilton Shelter to boo him louder, it'd be better than that auburn gif.
