I do not root for Kansas University for much of anything to be honest and at times I feel sad I can't cheer for them. But the one time I did try and cheer for them it hurt it really really hurt, you know?

switch up mascot and jersey and steve dave just nailed my feelings exactly. i also sometimes root for southern schools over northern schools though just because i like warm weather more than i like cold weather.

I root for teams based on the combined number of Rhodes, Truman, and Goldwater scholarships that have been awarded to the students attending them.
