I just don't know why the Pinstripe would want us. Seems like it would make more sense for them to pick east coast teams. I don't see our fanbase traveling well to NYC.
O/U on the number of fans we bring?
The #7 team from the ACC could well be Boston College. Instead, they're looking at a 6 or 7 win team from the midwest. Which team would put more people in the stands?
Well, they did sign a 4 year contract with the Big 12, so I'm assuming they had some say-so in the matter. I kinda doubt Steinbrenner just said: "Just give me a couple of teams, I don't care who they are."
Not the entire Big 12, just the sort of teams that would be around for them to invite. ISU, Baylor, KSU, etc. None of those teams is going to travel especially well to a shitty bowl.
It's difficult to recover from the ridiculous crap I said early on.
It's difficult to have a conversation with retards.
I'm saying they should never have made those tie-ins. None of the teams that would be around for them to select is going to travel across the country to watch a shitty bowl. They should have made a deal with the ACC in the first place.
