So, the ads for this are back on now....and it looks even better than ever.  I am really tempted to pull the trigger on this thing.  PLUS, they are throwing in the Graty, and you get two of each!

I bet it sucks ass in real life when you try to use it.  Like, stuff prolly sticks to the blades and sides and won't chop at all and then when you lift it to get the stuff off the sides/blades the stuff on the bottom falls out the sides so you can't continue to chop it.

It looks so fantastic on the commercial....I mean, I want to make those egg, pickle, green onion, and ham mixtures and stuff.   Also, the nuts chopping...HOLY crap that makes my Pad Thai and Kung Pao elite!

Our local news did a segment testing it.

Fail.

Stuck half the times. Wouldn't twist when 'slapped' more than half the time.

We've had a version of this item for years at home.  If you get a cheap version, they can wear out pretty easy, so we've got a pampered chef version.  I absolutely love it for chopping onions or carrots.  Highly recommended.

See, I also have a pampered chef version (bought it like 3 years ago or so.) and I have not been overly impressed with it.  I have been considering buying a slap chop, thinking that maybe it's a better, more improved version.  Guess not.

Mom's had a pampered chef one for a long time, always worked well and is easy to clean 'n stuff.

Also, Vince was a 2 hit wonder. Shamwow was pretty widely known as well. Dude is a great pitch man, douchiest man alive

ya, the pampered chef one's break in approximately 9 days after purchase

the answer is the cuisinart mini-prep-------------->

it's a mini food processor.  works great to mash up the rotel before putting it into the velvetta.

Have that.  Buttons are a little different but same size/brand.  Do the exact same thing with rotel.

Had mine for about 5 years.  If yours broke in 9 days, you should have warrantied it.

had one of these like 10 years ago (bought it at the Ks state fair). actually worked pretty good, until the idiot then-girlfriend put velveeta in it.  Velveeta? seriously?  GTFOOMFSC.

Me and the wife (much smarter than dumb ex gf) have an electric hand blender version that works wonders.
