Poetwarrior is absolutely correct with everything, everything, she has said thus far.  I, for one, recommend Mozart's Ave Verum Corpus, otherwise known as the greatest piece of music ever written.

Or Keisha/Gaga.

is infuriating.

 :kstatriot:

and why is that?

 :surprised:

Excuse me, let me clarify.

It's idiotic and embarrassing for our football players.

No, what is embarassing for the football players are one-play highlight videos that take an etinerity to watch. The idiotic part of that is that you think they had anything to do with bringing back the Browns/Harper. lol

etinerity?  I understand a spelling error every now and then, but this isn't even close.

I don't think it helps that band people are such enormous dorks + K-Staters are such enormous dorks. This just means the K-STATE band is going to make several embarassing decisions every year.

FWIW I think singing the Family Guy theme song is Fake Sugar Dick (WARNING, NOT THE REAL SUGAR DICK!) and embarassing. Just thought everyone should know that.

is family guy supposed to be cool now?  jfc, the show is 25 years old.

Did anyone see that one imbecile (the same guy in the front row of the basketball games-blazer guy) sing Sweet Caroline to everyone in his section? He was in the sixth row and everyone was sitting down while he turns around and sings it to them with actions and everything. To be honest, even I was embarrassed for him.

Compared to the rest of the K-Stateo stuff our band does like "The Band Is Hot", Sweet Caroline is pretty tame in comparison.

Really should just play "Fat Bottomed Girls" over and over.  Make it the new Wabash.

I think it's great that the band has chosen to replace songs that encourage the student body to use the "f word" with good wholesome music like Sweet Caroline.

Sweet Caroline is a song for Red Sox fans and 19 year old drunk girls.  Fan of one these groups and not the other.

Sweet Caroline was truly embarassing.  There were Texas fans in my section that were laughing about it.  Let that sink in.....Texas fans were laughing at us on a night where they had their own epic fail.  I had been chatting with a few them during the game, giving props to them for Greg Davis airplane banners and stuff.

Me:  "Stop laughing.....scoreboard, bitch"
Texas fan:  "Doesn't count during halftime.  This is Fake Sugar Dick (WARNING, NOT THE REAL SUGAR DICK!) and you know it"

I honestly didn't have much of a response to him.     :chainsaw:

Apparently everyone here missed the memo that Sweet Caroline is by the greatest singer/songwriter of this or any generation.

"walking around mhk and crying in the rain because of love lost is the absolute purest and best thing in the world.  i hope i fall in love during the next few weeks and get my heart broken and it starts raining just to experience it one last time."   --Dlew12

Hate to break it to you, but most of game day entertainment is embarrassing.
