Had no problem with Kamie. Figured she'd get a minor HC gig or good assistant gig. She probably should have read the signs and got out a year or 2 ago though.

So...it's now officially official that Kamie has put the band back together at Northern Colorado, with Shalee as her Associate Head Coach and Moylan and Patterson as assistants. Deb will now be subordinate in rank to two coaches who worked for her. Should make for an interesting workplace dynamic.

What a weird love parallelogram.  One psychopath and three Stockholm syndrome victims. No doubt Deb will puppet master that outfit.

I think this situation would be difficult for anyone in any walk of life. It could be that Deb is tired of running the show so in her mind this is okay because she can be around the game without wearing all of the pressure, but I'm highly skeptical. Pretty surprising that all four coaches and the AD agreed to this.

I'm guessing she'll get a head coaching job pretty quick.

Um, Kamie and Deb are never going to be at different schools.  I thought everyone knew this (and why).

If you've ever lived in Manhattan or been a K-State fan, then I'd think it'd be pretty hard to miss the dynamic there.

Yeah. I thought everyone knew this as well. :) Will the new dynamic affect that though? (I hope not, but may?)

What exactly does this speculation have to do with what we're talking about? The issue at hand is someone who has been a head coach for 18 seasons then suddenly working behind two people that have worked for her. I don't think suspected living arrangements would make this transition any easier.

It's not speculation. Deb didn't get the nod to be a head coach anymore, her girlfriend did. Deb is lucky to have a job based solely upon the fact that her girlfriend found a gig.

Or to phrase it in a way that you may not be so angry about

A minority woman got a job solely because she is a part of the minority.

You're welcome. You can take the blood pressure cuff off now. Aneurysm averted.

ESPN is desperately trying to make a story out of this Romero SNAFU

http://espn.go.com/womens-college-basketball/story/_/id/10963806/women-college-basketball-kansas-state-wildcats-decisions-blame-messy-situation

Weird that they went to Riley County High School so she could shoot baskets and stuff for the video.

If there was a gif of nicname thwarting the attempted-flag-taker and then gesturing him to suck it, followed by motioning for all of Hilton Shelter to boo him louder, it'd be better than that auburn gif.

Deb and kim aside, I'm a little surprised everyone else went there too. You would have thought shalee could have at least gotten an assistant job at a bigger school :dunno:
it's almost like they all agreed "ok whoever gets a head coaching job first has to hire everybody else on as assistants"

I wonder what Deb and co.'s reputation is like in the coaching brother/sister hood?

I'm sure K-state told them no and mhs has too many k-state ties (and didn't want to deal with the hassle) next closest gym is prolly RCHS
