spradling looked great.  yeah his defense sucked, and he was also loose with the ball.  unless peterson comes in and can score and defend like someone who hasn't bounced around in pickup games for the last two years, he's by far the best kstate has.

loved his vision.  loved his clemente 3 attempt.  plays fast.

Somewhere there's an opening for copy editor with your name on it.

Yeah, Skinny and I get paid by goEMAW for this crap.

You're getting paid???   :runaway:   :curse:

Does anyone think it just looks super weird having white guys on this team?

Yes.  And I can't say I like the effect this having on our Doberman image.

Texas Christian University coach Gary Patterson has been hired as Kansas State's 34th football coach, multiple sources have confirmed to GoPowercat.com.  Patterson replaces Ron Prince, who was fired Wednesday. - Tim Fitzgerald   Nov, 7, 2008

sprads is fantastic.  Love it when he gets the outlet.  eff all the haters.

I am totally on board with this.  He's probably our best low post entry passer out of all of our guards....some has to throw Wally his brick-assists.  Save the hate for Wally, IMO.  :curse:

VO's entry pass to Wally (I think it was Wally) on the baseline

Also, Freddy's post moves (right up to the point of missing the lay-in) were fantastic.  :pbj:

sorry, forgot this is a freshmen thread

Spradling looked like a doberman puppy, imo.

Pullen and Irving need to talk to Sprads re: undershirts and bad haircuts.
yeah, his helmet hair isn't doing him any favors

I would also recommend a healthy does of Proactiv.

I'm unsure if some of you have watched Frank Martin coached basketball before. Sprads was actually pressuring the ball like he's supposed to, and like lots of young guards in Martin's system, getting beat. Just think of Clemente. Plus, he was taken in and out by Frank for messing up the least for guards not named Pullen. Finally, he looked most comfortable of all the guards playing with Pullen in the game with him, which was probably the biggest thing ti watch all night in this game. Of course, that can all change, but this game only showed me Sprads is going to play a lot this year, especially if the soph guards don't step up.

This^^^^

Just wait till Sprads catches some fire.  It will be so HOTT!!!!!!  Literally it will be HOTT cuz he catches fire.

Spradling looked like the best freshman out there. Not the most upside, but the most ready to play right now.

Agreed, don't get the "looked slow" remark

Anyone seriously trying to take anything out of this game, is probably better off re-watching the "midnight madness" scrimmage

Did you watch him on defense...he was blown by a lot.

I read your reply far differently than everyone else did.  I figured it meant that Sprads was truly was enjoying the "college experience" - but I also thought it might be wise to keep his sexual activities off of center court (at least when there is a game going on).
