Does anyone know why LaKeith left after only one season?

I was at K-State at the time (yes I know,I'm old) and the rumor was a run-in with the law.  Most likely scenario was sexual assault, but I don't remember hearing anything official. (If true, K-State was much better at cover-ups in the past)

I remember LaKeith as being really creepy.  He had an infatuation with the sister of one of my friends and always followed her around at the bars. The odd thing was that she was not hot at all and I was embarrassed that our basketball players weren't chasing better tail.

He did have a really big head. Like down's syndrome big.

did your friend's sister end up shot?

No, she ended up really fat.

I don't know if any of you remember this guy.  But he played in the backcourt with Steve Henson, I believe in 89 and left after 1 year.  Appears he is doing well.

Don't believe he played with Steve Henson.  Maybe Brian Henson...but not Steve Henson.

Then it's a good thing Lamark is leaving the Little Apple, yeah?   :ohno:

mcmw

I have always wondered...

do we want mcmw before or after they come to k-state?

which one is better?

what about during their time here? what do you guys think?

I think its best for MCMW to be before, during and after they come to school.

Also, bonus points for any alum that ends up in prison or dead, due to foul play.

He played with Steve Henson.  They were the "H" bombs.  I also went to school with the girl that he was said to have had relations with causing him to leave.

if i remember correctly, the indescretions were said to have happened at night during the annual campout for bball tickets. pretty sure they stopped it for a few years because of this. could be wrong.
