The darker wood is fine. At least our staff is trying to get a decent looking court, and one that has a newer look to it. You should find at least a little solace in that.

Photoshop guys, reverse the woods and see what that looks like.  Also make the light wood a little darker but not as dark as the dark wood.

i will concede that it might look nicer if the light wood was a little darker. i personally would've just made the whole thing dark. can you even imagine the grey nike elites on an entire dark wood court? jesus.

Yep, I like the dark wood, but the light wood is way too light in contrast.  All-dark sounds great.

They incorporated it, but the octagon is some weird elongated shape. Most people visiting probably won't even realize it's an octagon until somebody points it out to them. I would have rather just gone with a standard rectangular baseline. Octowood would have been elite, but that must have been asking too much.

Um, eff yes. Considering I didn't think we were getting a new court for a few years, and considering how they mumped up the BSFS field at the last moment, I will take this court in a heartbeat. The dark wood is fine.

Its all about subtlety. Except for the dark wood part. That's all about 2 shades to dark.

The design overall looks good - the purple border and Octagon looks perfect.  Will be interested to see how this pops on TV.  Don't mind the two tone, but would have liked to see them go a few shades lighter for a bit less contrast.

I don't love that either, but it is significantly better than the super dark wood.
