Oh and LBBCIQ here: would octowood be as easy to tear down into neat little rectangles when we need to move it away for MHS graduation?

High K-S0IQ here: when we inevitably K-State0 this up and can't get the rectangles to fit seamlessly after a few years, will the horizontal gaps that show off where the floor has been patched together look weird criss-crossing with the octagon-ness of the wood pattern?  tia.

As for parquet floors, I instantly think of Texas A&M when I see it.  Or UMass.  Or Western Illinois.  :dunno:
Hard to take your opinions seriously on this topic after that post.

The problem with Octawood is the court dimensions.  Eventually, you would stop seeing Octagons and just see straight lines, or the shape would get longer than it is tall and look like a really Fake Sugar Dick (WARNING, NOT THE REAL SUGAR DICK!)/mumped up rectangle with slanty things toward the ends.  I would still want it, even given this.  To have the octagon start at center court would be fantastic.

i think you could make it look great either with elongated octagons or with diff designs at the ends when your symmetrical octagons need help.

parquet is spelled with a t, for anyone interested.

I think I know a guy who has a meeting in Bram on Thursday.  I'll text him and see if he can score a look and maybe some pics.  Will probably only be posted on goEMAW Premium though.

Was going to take some snapshots of the new court being installed when I was in Bram this morning.  Nobody was working on the floor and it was all cement.   :dubious:

They have a lot of work to do if it is going to be done by next Monday.

You'll have to excuse RD, he's kind of a dick.  Anyway, here are the pictures you requested.  Hope this helps.
