Is it pretty certain that we're going to tell Omari to keep on moving?
Any chance that since Nino is in-state, he can pay his own way this year and then be on 'ship next and we can still take Omari?
Yeah you have a better chance at passing a breathalyzer than that happening.
Passing a breathalyzer is a stretch (even though the only one I ever took I blew a 0.00), but why is an in-state paying his own way so far fetched?  With grants, academic/local scholarships, a good work/study "job", and student loans, it is pretty easy to pay for a year of college for a family of modest means.

Pretty hard to talk a kid to come to your school and pay a few grand when he could go to another school for free

If Nino is a 4.0 student, is there a chance he could get an energy scholarship arranged by Frank?  If so that would be awesome  :excited:

Meyer and Bossi tag team at the Adidas Invitational in Indy, and while the results are a little redundant, they are still spectacular. Highlights:

"After spending the spring with Team Texas, Jordan Williams showed up in Indianapolis with the Dallas Mustangs and had his moments. A long 6-foot-5 perimeter athlete, he can put up points in a hurry."

"Torian Graham, SG, DC Assault- One of the more pleasant surprises of the day, the Durham native got busy playing up on the 17U level. Nearly freakish with his bounce around the rim, he threw down what was easily the day's best jam when he posterized 2011 bad-man Chane Behanan at the rim while earning a foul. His jumper has a big kink in it, but he's pretty accurate with it when he can shoot in rhythm."

"In the absence of Quinn Cook, four-star point guard Jerome Seagears did an excellent job running the show for the DC Assault."

"When he's got it cooking, few players in te country can put up points at the clip Texan D'Angelo Harrison can. The 6-foot-3 shooter got hot during the morning game putting up 25 in the second half. On the school front, Harrison is refusing to list schools and says that he will re-address his recruitment after July. "

Regarding the final note on Harrison, what's up with that?

sounds like frank's "don't ask, don't tell" policy is in effect

Cheesy Mustache QB might make an appearance.

New warning: Don't get in a fight with someone who doesn't even need to bother to buy ink.

DeAngelo Harrison did his best to put his team on his back but fell just short. Put up 47 points in a losing effort for Franchize.

obvious showboat, bad fit, etc.

not completely clear from the gpc story, but presumably lawrence gets an '11 ship.  leaving a single '11 to give.

rpi '11 recruiting fun times.

i dont think omari knows either. scholly may be contingent on him getting back in shape/practice habits, etc, and us not finding anything better.

probably a given that somebody will leave and '11 class will be larger than one.  Not a given that we will oversign in the fall ( )...leaving only late season lameo recruiting lameness to follow.

Nice extensive writeup from Brian Snow regarding Day 2 at Adidas Invitational linked at bottom. Some interesting school listst included in the writeup:

"Jordan Williams listed Kansas State, Texas A&M, Arizona State, Arizona, Texas Tech, Washington, Georgia, SMU, and North Texas."  We love us some wings.

"Jerome Seagears says he has offers from Cincinnati, Rutgers, DePaul, Clemson, Maryland, and Boston College with interest from Arizona and Georgetown."

Snow dedicates 4 full paragraphs praising Seagears game, just when our interest in him seemingly picks up and he's starting to blow up, POOF, we're gone. Update from Arizona site linked at very bottom also has no mention of KSU Cats.

Apparently we are not worried about getting a PG anytime soon.

Frank has confused himself with his own recruiting strategy.
He's worried that if he shows interest in a player, other coaches will know he's interested in the player and start recruiting them.

man, what a catch 22.  if anyone can figure it out, though, this staff will do it!
