When did everyone on this board turn full blown Fake Sugar Dick (WARNING, NOT THE REAL SUGAR DICK!)?

For me it happened some time in May, I think, not really sure.  What was the question?

Not listed, but doesn't have any offers yet

and an extra   that we probably would get to pronounce his name Say-Zar and listen to Wyatt and Stan butcher it.

That, and we'll get to hear Wyatt suggest he go eat some more tacos or something at the next Catbackers.  :opcat:

Top prospect list from Texashoops linked below. Interesting that while Rivals has Harrison ranked #29 nationally(2nd our overall in st of TX), he only comes in at #7 here. Other names of interest are:
13. Gipson
19. Dillard
24. Cunningham
34. Mergerson

Hoiowans are  over #15

Now that's the kind of attention to detail I'm talkin about Pett! With recent reported offers also to Gipson and Cunningham, it looks like we're bound and determined to land a Forward from the DFW area.

FWIW, he's #9 in TX hoop prospect list linked a couple posts above. Sounds like he had a pretty good HS season in his 1st year at a new school.

"The Colony junior Jordan Williams, who was playing in his first season for the Cougars, shared MVP honors with Bud Sasser of Denton Ryan.

Williams led the Cougars in scoring (19.2) and rebounding (8.4).

“I’m really proud of Jordan,” Ryan said. “Not only for how he progressed as a player, but how he progressed as a person. He came into a new school with a new system and coaching staff and really grew as a player and young man.”

Williams also came though in the clutch, converting six 3-pointers in the regional finals against Mansfield Legacy.

Ryan said Williams has a scorer’s mentality and is aggressive around the hoop.

Next season, Ryan said Williams is working on improving his ball-handling skills and shot selection while also working in the weight room."

In other news, Te460K is has drawn several smiley faces and a mean looking monster type character on his office whiteboard , . . just underneath the note to call Baron and set up a test drive.

dax,

you do a very good job w/ this. very good. your biggest obstacle though (imo) is that nobody cares how much coaches get paid. i don't. at all. i personally wish that everybody on the staff made 8 billion a year each. or more if they wanted it. maybe rework your stuff to focus on the laziness and not the amount of money being made. :twocents:

Daris . . . that's really the point dude.   I couldn't care less if they paid Te a million a year if he was out landing 4 and 5 star recruits.   But he's not.

Oh . . . another note, after watching 42's video.   I just want us all to take a moment of silence before we issue last rights for the palming/carrying the basketball rule.

my point is that i care about his recruiting and nothing else. you care about his recruiting and the amount of money he makes if he's not pulling in good recruits. i still just care about his recruiting. still don't care about the money. pretty irrelevant. but let's stop before we mess up this thread anymore.

So, I'm not 100% convinced that we're really all that hot after Angel.  If we're still looking at guards, I'm guessing that we're not 100% set on him.

I mean, it's not like we really need a backup plan for one of Art's kids if we offer them.

Can somebody please do the following:

1)  group our 2011 prospects in by position
2)  within each respective position group rank those players by how good they are (1 being best)
3)  next to each players name place the chance the Cats have at them (i.e. low, med, high)

TIA.  This is a lot of sh*t to read, and with every guy immediately given a short name, or worse some hyphenated acronym thing, its really hard to follow.

i think there's a better than 50% chance they take 2 guards.

Let's just get rid of Martavious after the season. In that case we can take Angel & Seagears (Seags will get an offer after Quinn denies us).

Agree on both counts.  I wouldn't be suprised if we end up with 2 guards and niether is Angel.

I normally think you are punch drunk Fake Sugar Dick (WARNING, NOT THE REAL SUGAR DICK!) when you post, but I think Martavious will do good things this season too.  Kid over performed for a 3 star that no one major wanted until the last minute.  He plays defense the way he needs to in order to get minutes and he's a decent shooter.

it's a lot more important to aa to be martin's friend than it is to be ar-t's benefactor.
