Frank to staff:  So, um, you guys going to recruit this week
Staff:  No, we're good (throws another cheeto in mouth and wipes hands on sweatpants while turning up the volume on cartoon network)

the real story of the Teague commitment is the stone cold kick to the gut for Louisville and Rick Pitino. Make no mistake, this is one of, if not THE, worst recruiting losses in history for UL.

yeah, was brutal.  kstate equiv. would be rodtri being sent elsewhere.

I havent seen Boatright play. But idc I want Cezar Guerrero on my team.  He's not being recruited as hard as you would expect because of transfer isssues, and a broken collar bone this past summer. So he didnt get to compete during the summer. I fully expect him to be a minimum 4 star. Go get'em frank.

I could watch Team Texas' Thomas Gipson play all day. Strong, tough 6-6 ass kicker in the lane.

If you are looking for a big guy in the class of 2012, you are in luck. '12 is LOADED with bigs of all levels.

keep wondering if kstate is recruiting 2 guards for the remaining 'ships.  and waiting on '12 for bigs.  seems odd to have so many (relatively) guard names, and so few bigs.

Going against Larkin was Ryan Boatright. The Chicago point man has a lot of flash to his game, and is ultra quick with the ball. Boatright didn't start the game, and it took him a little while to find his rhythm, but he was solid overall. His handle is very impressive, and also he has a great looking shot. He still needs to do more to set up his teammates, but Boatright kept D-Rose in the game with his play.

Koppe is a giant idiot bad person for sure but he's nowhere close to as big of an idiot bad person as others. To my knowledge Koppe has never bought an adult trike or talked to a dog whisperer.

Cliffs' notes are: Nino is starting to take his game to another level, starting to knock down 3's consistently along with dominating in the paint. Sounds like he may attend Brewster Academy, a prep school in New Hampshire next year. By my count, Brewster had no less than 7 DI signees on their team this year.

I probably talk more sh*t about our staff's recruiting than anyone, but it seems like most guys they offer early end up a lot better than they seem initially.  (Spradling being the exception....so far.)

Hope we didn't piss off Nino by taking the POS Canadian instead.

Other cruits mentioned

The have Perry Ellis only listed at 6'7". Said he's really working on his perimeter game and starting to show improvement in that area.

Willie Cauley is legit 6'10" to go along w/really long arms. Due to that length, is really a presence on D. Needs bulk, but runs floor very well  and is deserving of high-major interest he's receiving.

Semi Ojeleye(Vic's younger brother), is 6'5". Plays hard and really gets after it on O glass. Already an outstanding passer, has good looking shot and can also handle the ball

Do we know an accurate height at this time? Still 6'5"?

with williams, you were just being stubborn.  it was obvious he has a high major body and decent skills.

I tend to trust the early offers regardless of rating.  (even Spradling)  The later (fall) offers always seems suspect.   Late period (Spring) offers are putrid (D1 transfers aside).
