I think he's a bit shorter than Ron

hopefully his width added to his supposed massive wingspan would make up for the height diffy

great job, uw.  any chance you could get them to bite on an ar-t question?

I tried when they released their rankings back in May, no luck. I'll try again after the dust settles when the rankings are updated, which will hopefully happen within the next couple weeks.

Thanks for the well wishes fellas, it can be rough navigating that maelstrom of recruiting info known as the
Scout National Board at times  :users:, but with your support, I know I can hang in there.  :eye:

Quote from: floridahoops
Adrian Diaz – The 7’0 Center for Gold Coast raised his stock the most of any player in the state. Out of Hialeah Miami Lakes, Diaz first impressed at the Rumble in the Bronx where national scouts from Hoop Scoop and Rivals liked his length and mobility. He stepped up his play at the Breakdown Hoops ...Festival, showcasing his passing ability and defensive presence in the lane. At Disney, he was aggressive offensively inside and finished above the rim the vast majority of the time. Diaz committed to Kansas State shortly after the event.

Jack names top 4.  Not shockingly EMAW doesn't make the cut

Angel is a solid floor general. He can score it. I think he will end up at KState.

Good find SD, that NYC/Rice/Gaucho connection has been good to us but this was pretty much inevitable given our recent commits, I'll definitely be interested to see what kind of player he develops into.

Wonder if Cunningham still plans on visiting Manhattan this fall, from the outside looking in, there simply doesn't appear to be any room for him right now.

Not sure the reported EMAW offer was legit(or the offers from Baylor, Marquette, OK St) but this kid still is a very intriguing prospect. Mean Green making noise on the 'cruiting trail!

Nothing definite right now, but word is Daniels had reached out to Kentucky(yep), Memphis, UTenn, and ku PRIOR to his decommitment.  Thread on Rivals national board with all sorts of wild speculation, not so sure about facts, but still interesting stuff linked below.

We're happy.

Very happy.

Williams said that he is one of a few top players in the Dallas area talking about coming to UNT together.

"I think that I can be a good leader," Williams said. "I felt like if I committed, everyone else would jump on board."

Been meaning to stop by for a while since we announced our opener this year will be on the road at Kansas... Seeing he had an offer from you guys brought me over to check your recruit thread. I'll be back for more friendly shenanigans before we play each other in football.

In the meantime, I've been meaning to ask what the key to beating Kansas in basketball is so that I can share it with our coaching staff. I know nobody here has any idea how to do it... But can any of you link me to a Baylor basketball forum?

See you all again in November.

Not sure if you're allowed to talk crap on a team that waxed your ass and ended your season...  It will be fun to do it to your football team this year.  Speaking of which-  Do you guys still have that high school coach?
