Purple Pig was great when I knew the bartenders and didn't pay for one drink between 2005-2008. Never went back after they all quit.

NOT WHEN I WAS at KSU! All the losers from losertown went there.  But I guess it depends on what kind of crowed you hung with.  I was a lucky's brew pub kind of guy myself (roommate tended bar there).
