a goEMAW owned bar called Pak'd would be pretty damn elite
BSAC needs to scoop that up.  Should we call the goEMAW.com bar "goEMAW.com" or "KatPak'd."

I'd bet some 'Ville bars could be bought for far less than 100k.

Aggieville Bar for Sale (712 N. Manhattan Avenue, Manhattan KS)

Have you ever wanted to own your own college bar? Here is your chance! I am selling a turn key operation currently operating in Aggieville. I am motivated to sell this business soon. I can be flexible with the purchase price because I also own the building. If you can't afford the purchase price upfront I can adjust the rent and structure the payments into it. I can structure the lease / purchase agreement to fit your needs.

I opened and have operated the bar the last 5 years. The bar has had several different names in the last 5 years. It has operated under the names Tank's Tavern, Ale House and is now currently called Chuggers. I was 23 years old when I opened Tank's and as I learned this business I modified the bar & concept several times. The bar was the #1 UV Orange account in the World for over 4 years! In this time period I also opened 3 other bars in Aggieville. Those bars are Shot Stop, Bomb Bar and Johnny Kaw's. I am currently looking to simplify my operations in Manhattan and expand into Kansas City this spring.

This is a great opportunity for a young operator to make 150k-200k a year and have a lot of fun too. Buy this business before Fake Patty's Day in March and capitalize on a $30,000 day. Fake Patty's Day was voted "The Top 10 College Parties in America" last year. This bar holds 274 people and is 3000sq/ft. The bar has averaged over $450,000 in sales and operated at over a 30% profit margin for the last 5 years. More information and tax returns are available to qualified buyers.

Lease Terms
(3000sq/ft @ $17sq/ft) $4250/month + triple net
Owner maintains HVAC, sprinkler system, plumbing, electric service, etc

Sales includes
*All coolers
*Sound system, dance lights
*POS Aloha system valued at $8500
*All exterior signage
*Sale includes everything you need to operate

Sale does not include
*12 camera remote eyes system valued at $6500 if desired price is negotiable
*Mechanical Bull purchased for $13,500 in July if desired price is negotiable
*All inventory

It sounds like aggieville is becoming more date-rapey.  May have to avoid this weekend.

If a person were to buy this bar, would the powers at goEMAW.com allow them to special privileges with regards to the goEMAW brand at this fine establishment? Also, who are the HRM people on this site? It is time to take the next step goEMAW. It is time.
What is the this bar really worth?I am assuming that someone has at least done a little homework on this.

Now that Rustys is frat boy central and longhorns is shut down, where are the 'seeds gonna go?

Kite's Red Dirt

Most of them are pissed because they put the tables back in the middle of the floor. They'll probably head down to the Dirty Dawg once they figure out it's open. I stopped by there Saturday night, didn't feel like waiting in line forever, they had $5 32 oz. draws of Shiner Bock. It will probably fail if the rednecks don't get the word out, though.
Wtf are you talking about? What is the Dirty Dawg?
It replaced Bushwackers.

Oh yeah... Forgot about that one

Does this mean we need to re-do the Ultimate Aggieville Pubcrawl Challenge? Should be a lot easier now that half the bars are connected. If only Green Tea and Hibachi can establish some kind of expansionist tunnel to make things easier.

Sounds like a great idea!

Just learned about a discretionary day at work that I MUST use between the 4th of December and the 20th of December. Any takers? Anyone willing to chaperone/keep me awake?

Well he certainly wasn't born to be a NASCAR driver. You have my full support, 'Meister.

First item on the agenda, get a big goEMAW sign, purple lights for when you leave the bar, and hire the dumbest, sluttiest girl you can find to sit behind a desk in case you want to creep her out instead of your wife.

Jakesie, as our resident Aggieville insider, why does Allred turn this bar over so often?

He probably runs them into the ground and then has his parents cut him (another) check.

Lots of rumblings, but one of his bars is the most profitable in Aggieville, and it isn't even close.

Edit: Point being I don't think his parents are bailing him out. I think bar owners started rumors like that because they were pissed that some 25 year old came in with a bang and easily succeeded.

if the key word is profitable, i would guess that its shot stop. lowest overhead, tiny, no employees, no tap. basically a cheesecake and kamikaze vending machine.

seems like owning a bar in aggieville is basically the easiest and most fun way in the world for a recent college grad to amass a fortune...

...and Meister absolutely refuses to do it
