Pease will be strictly a wildcat qb imo.  Not an every down qb at this level, unfortunately.

Pease??? Damn a 4* qb? Or athlete

Athlete, same as Sams.  Dude is supposedly an accurate passer and makes good decisions.  :dunno:  Can't hurt to at least give him a shot, we may be okay at WR for the next  few years without him.

I would love to have a guy like that at QB.  Would be awful nice to have him step in for 2 years and let Sams develop a bit before he takes over.  But, I have no idea if he is capable of that.  At the very least, he sounds like a guy we're going to want to get the ball to in a variety of ways.  If Sams is as good as we hope he is, maybe having him as a four year starter is the way to go.  Rely on the running game for the next 2 years or so and take some pressure off of him, maybe?  Might as well go ahead and say it-  having him, Brod, Tremaine, and Harper at WR sounds pretty formidable to me.

wut?  2009 stats:

PASSING         GP   Effic Cmp-Att-Int   Pct  Yds  TD Lng Avg/G
---------------------------------------------------------------
A. PEASE        10  120.12  76-155-6    49.0 1101   9  64 110.1

that % and those 6 ints don't reek of good decision making or accuracy to me.

Athletic and accurate passer. Knack of making good decisions.

Since I can't really verify the quality of the source, I included the phrase:  "supposedly."   Also, this was based on his high school career but I doubt he has regressed too much and may have actually improved.  A passing efficiency of 120 isn't exactly horrible, either.

Are you joking? I would LOVE a solid 120 passer rating... IMO, that's serviceable considdering some of the clowns that have been trotted out on the field lately.

But let me be the first to say to Mr 4* DE: Welcome to our little corner of heaven here in Manhappiness, afterall

The NCAA does their passing efficiency slightly different than the NFL.  A 120 is solid in college but nowhere near as good as if where in the NFL.  That's why you'll see dudes like Sam Bradford with like 180s.

He is the starting QB at Hutch, there is no doubt about that.  However, he is also their best offensive player so the have him play at several different positions in addition to QB.  Unless Sams is really badass, Pease has a shot to start next year.

The 2011 class isn't stellar by any mean, but there are a lot of solid guys that will be pretty damn good. Hopefully Sams will be the real deal.

Bryce and Arthur Brown :dunno:

Obviously I wasn't including the transfers. Do that, and we're amazing Big Tweleven Champions.

If Sams is solid at a true freshman, then we have a chance at a lot of wins.

Sams doesn't even start on his high school team dood.  Probably more likely that Pease starts for us next year.

Klein is the most likely imo.

Klein FTW. Kid is goin' places.

I think you guys are all forgetting about Wild Billy Cosh. The smart money is on him to be the starting QB next year. Word out of practice is that he is a real gunslinger. Plus, you may not know this, but his dad is one of the coaches. I don't know about you guys, but I've never played for a team in any sport at any level where the coach's son did not start. Word is that he requested that the name on the back of his jersey just say "Billy" and not "Cosh". It seems that Coach Snyder does not like it, but Coach Chris loves the idea. I guess we'll all see on Saturday which coach wears the big boy pants. :excited:
