Just realized...

Nebraska plays a pretty weak nonconf, then starts with us at home on our first Thurs game (assuming the game will be loud and emotional)
We get UCLA, ISU and ... [spoiler]UCF[/spoiler] before them.   :lick:

The difference is Boise St is good.  Nebraska isn't.

UNL is not as elite as advertised and whereas they are probably better than KSU, they are not unbeatable, and especially by a team like KSU.  UNL's best win is UW.  That is the same team that got beat by 1-4 BYU who just lost to Utah St. in the battle for Mormon Shine.  Every team has had success against UNL running the ball, there is no reason to believe KSU can't find success doing the same.  KSU's defensive unit is flawed, but it has been so against every opponent and they have found a way to make enough plays when needed. 

Not claiming KSU will win, but to not believe they can is short sighted.
