A&M game was more fun, imo.

To me, the A&M game was one big WTF.

Totally. I was so confused, kinda felt like the Twilight Zone or something.

Also another kind of fun game was Tennessee Tech. We were whopping up on them, just doing whatever we wanted to, blowing them out, and people were still just sitting there. Nobody would leave.

We should've stormed the field bro. Also the weather that day was

ok, you guys are all hardcore cats fans.  you just have shitty expectations.

Out of curiosity, how many wins did you expect last year?

 :dunno:
you'll get what I give you and you'll like it

Some members of this board had a lot invested in that game including a chance to win a keg that TP never ended up delivering. It was the most fun home game of last year.

Any chance paint splatters on KSTATEO poster were partially inspired by this whole thing?

What if KSTATEO poster was actually a Da Vinci Code-esque map to the secret of Brent Venables?

I liked it better when winning this game was an afterthought.
yup

Sorry you can't enjoy beating KU in football.  :dunno:

This gives me chills.  Hadn't slept all night.  Was in a pretty much dream like state during this period.
From my perspective, that video is sad.  Our players and fans need to have higher expectations than that crap.

lower standards in today's youth have been a major part in the fall of the american empire  :frown:
you beat me to it.

At the time, it was a pretty big/important win over an in-state rival, who we hadn't beat the two years prior.  It's not like we rushed the field or anything.

you guys just don't have the same perspective as some of the 90'sKATS have.  sorry bros.

I was there in the 90s bro.  I was in Lawrence in '08 too and watched KU murder us and stayed through the whole bloodbath, just to foster the hatred.  It's okay to be happy when we beat KU.

ok i call BS on this.  i just looked you up on facebook.  being 5 during the DoD doesn't count. sry bro, still love ya though.

High Expectations yield better damn results. One of the fundamental things you learn in Psych

My rules as a KSTATEO fan:
1. Like the crap out of K-State
2. Have high expectations (realistic ones though, not Fake Sugar Dick (WARNING, NOT THE REAL SUGAR DICK!) ones)
3. Be really rough ridin' angry  :curse:

IMO the whole defacing Vanier was a lie.  I am a graduate student in feed science and out department parks cars in the grain science complex across from the stadium.  The feed science club parked cars for the game and a few of us stayed in tents the night before so we could catch RVs that came in and take money.  We were all awake at 4:30 that morning.  According to reports, the building was vandalized around five in the morning.  Players were told everything was washed away before they arrived.  Now I am not saying that we sat there all morning staring at Vanier, but no one saw anyone doing the act or cleaning it up.  I saw it was Bill trying to get the boys motivated.
