Holy hell. I try to keep from thinking about the specifics of this team as much as possible so I can build a little optimism, but every time I'm reminded of what we're putting out there I check the calendar for the first day of basketball practice again.
If you thought Snyder played ball control/time of possession football last year, wait until you see the strategy this year. More seasoned o-line and running backs + questions at QB (again!) + terrible, terrible defense = 3 forward passes/game and a goal of at least 40 minutes TOP. If you liked Marty Schottenheimer's Chiefs teams except for the defense and winning, you're gonna love K-State football this year.
Looking forward to seeing a drastic reduction in ticket prices next year after the upcoming 4-8 season. I can't believe people are paying $300 to watch this team play this year. At least there are going to be thousands of Nebraska fans who get fleeced for those $75 tickets. It'll be nice to milk that cow one more time before they leave for greener pastures.
